'Buried treasure' land claimant wants excavation stopped

Vernay Gilbert, one of the claimants to a plot of land in San Salvador under which pirate treasure is rumoured to be buried, called on Dorothy Black-Beal to stop all excavation efforts.

Ms Gilbert said she feels her childhood friend Ms Black-Beal is being given bad advice by "persons that surround her."
